Yes, the SSN on the death cert didnt exist, at least thats what the gov told. Although Benanti may help very much!!!!

Thank you so much. But are there any other avenues to search to see if he was born in Italy. His draft card says naturalized citizen and my grand father Charles Bennett also claims he was born in Italy.

He died in Salt Lake City, Utah. But, I have viewed the death certificate and no info to go on. Any ideas?

Looking for relatives and history Sammartino & Casciola
My great grand parents names were Niccolo (Nick) Casciola and Ersilia Sammartino. They, as far as I know came from Sant'Eusanio and Agnone respectively. I was trying to see if there were some descendants or others who had any additional information about their ancestry.
