One brother was called Rosario and one was Rosolino. Ralph owned a barber shop in chicago and Raymond was his brother and they were very close (Raymond was a little slow I hear). I have a document that says Rosolino was her husband. I believe in parenthesis it shows Ralph as the american name.

Travel in Sicily in mid 1700s

The conversion of KM to Miles tells me it takes 45min to get from Mussomeli to Vallelunga Sicily. Approx 14.9miles....... So if I had a relative in Mussomeli relocating to Vallelunga how would they have traveled in Mid- 1700s? Does anyone know? I am trying to put things in a book and want to be able...

Thank you so much Pippo for checking on this for me. I am trying to track down a Joseph Spoto (Tolomeo).

He was 9 mos on the census. He could have stayed in Chicago or moved to California.

Wow that is amazing I am going to have to go back to Family Search for some of this. I have since found in Ancestry the Census prior to her marriage and yes her name did seem different with out the S it is not uncommon to see names being different by a character. Plus I found where she was married b...

Marty told me a long time ago Allegatis are a gold mine for Genealogists. Usually have lots of information about the Bride and Groom birth and baptisms and parental and grand parent information. Good luck.
Don't get discouraged if you don't find an Allegati not all marriages have them online.....
