It doesn't mention his parents. It says he was about 60, and was buried in the church of St. George.

In the 1920 Census there's one Rocco Ricci, son, born in Italy.
I thought he might be from a former marriage, and here he is

If you mean the 1910 and 1920 Censuses, yes, they can.
The three daughters in 1910 census might have married (the older ones) or passed away before 1920.
Also, I want to point out that Italians do not have middle names.
So, mother's first name was "Maria Carmela". As it often happens, she might have ...

It just depended on what crossed the Registrar's mind...
Sometimes he gave a name that could remind the parents; for instance, when he knew who they were, though they were not reported and abandoned the child. Or he just had heard a similar name.

Take a look at 1910 Census. It reports 3 daughters: Mary, Victoria, and Marie.
