Registers on Antenati are the digitazions of those stored at the Archivio di Stato di Frosinone.

This is a certification by the Captain Vincenzo Argoleo, of the Second Battalion of Horseback Hunters, stating that the master farrier Alfonso Califano, son of deceased Saverio, from Pagani, was regularly discharged after his service in the 5th squadron.

My ggf's civil records indicate he was a shepherd (pastore) in Sicily in the late 19th century.

I thought my father said that my ggf owned a lemon orchard. If that were the case, would it also have been recorded as his profession? maybe it was not big enough to live on it, but big enough to sell ...

The address "via Laterano" probably refers to the Hospital of San Giovanni, near the church of San Giovanni in Laterano.

I'm not an expert of this kind of records, but, before "Femina" (singular), I read "Ristretto", that makes me think of a sort of summary. Moreover, before "2" (but it might even be "1"), I read "n", that might stand for "numero". So, that MIGHT just be a count of the females in the household"
