That should be the address, but I can't read it.
If not even sure the address is referred to the town of Palermo.

Re: Help Translating Baptism Record
About what is written after "Fasano" I have an idea, but I'm not sure at all.
So, if noone tells an opinion, I will tell you.
"natum die nudius tertius" means "born three days counting up to today", that is "two days before". As he was baptized on 13th, he was born 11th.

Re: Please help translate 1765 Cinisi Marriage record
For non-italian speakers:
On one hand dispensation was necessary to avoid marriages between too strictly related people (with all the connected genetic and ethical problems) but on the other, as long as I know, it was also a way for the Church to get money. In fact, dispensation was connected to a ...

Re: Please help translate 1765 Cinisi Marriage record

Re: Please help translate 1765 Cinisi Marriage record
Luca,
il "grado di consanguineità" definito dalla Chiesa non è lo stesso definito dal Diritto, per esempio, per la successione ereditaria.
Io ho l'ato di matrimonio di una coppia dei miei trisnonni, che hanno dovuto richiedere la dispensa per consanguineità di terzo grado. Avevano in comune i ...

Re: Please help translate 1765 Cinisi Marriage record
The surname is definitely Cannilo or Cannila.
I can read no ages.
If you can't read Italian, Luca noted that on both acts it's remarked that they had to get a special permission for marriage ("Dispensa apostolica"), as they were 3rd degree relatives (probably second cousins).

Re: Need help with a Partinico death record - 1850 - BRUSCA
Well, if dates are right, this doubt is solved by the document of the other post:
if Casimiro was 80 in 1850, he must have been born abt 1770, and by that time his father was already widower of Vincenza, and husband of Anna.
Anyway, I find it hard to read, but I can't see any mention of his parents ...

Groom: Sebastiano Brusca from Cinisi, widower of the late Vincenza Annilo (?), son of Marco and of the late Antonia Brusca.
Bride: Anna Galata from Cinisi, never married before, daughter of the ...
