There are several Castelfranco and Castelforte in Italy, and I don't think there's a town with both names.
Do you have the documents in which you found such place names?
Who is the first of your ancestors who went to America? Have you found his Ellis Island manifest?
These can be useful info to help ...

Re: Help with a name, please
In the Manifest, it really looks like Sormano. Moreover, it is a surname from Piemonte. But that is not what they wrote in the certificate (the "r" is missing, or the "m" turned to "n")!

Re: Risoldi/Bianchi families of Terracina
According to Italian White Pages, there are still some Risoldi's in Terracina. You can find their addresses and phone numbers at:
www.paginebianche.it
typing "risoldi" in field "nome"
and "Terracina" in "località"
Also, there are Bianchi's, but it is a very common surname.

Re: Birth Location - Lemie?
Quality of the image is not good.
It seems to me it could be "San Leucio", a village that is part of the Commune of Caserta.
Can you post a link to the record in Ellis Island, or the name to search for?

Re: Eggs cooked in tomato sauce.
In Italy, the one kind of pasta where you can fin meatballs in, is "lasagna".
For those who don't know it, it is made of slices of pasta with (in the middle of slices) tomato sauce, mozzarella and parmigiano. We often put in it peas and little fried meatballs. Then, it is cooked in an oven. This is ...

"Cassazione civile" is the highest level of civil Court (after first judgement, you can turn to an Appeal Court, and, as an extreme resource, to Cassazione Civile)
