Hi Carmine :-)

I would say that it is indeed a 7bre...which is an abbreviation for Settembre!
I have seen this mostly in the marginal notations...

Re: Leonardo Pagano Orsara,Foggia

Is that your Family Tree (Zappanti and Alfonso Family Tree) on Ancestry?

It lists Leonardo Pagano/Amelia Schiavoni and their 9 children.

It also lists Amelia's parents...Giusippi Schiavoni and Maria Michela Polvi...
And parents of Leonardo...Gaetano Pagano and Carmela Aquaviva...

Re: Birth Certificate - I need help with some translation

The second notation on the left is also a marriage notation. Date looks like 17 June 1903, No. 14, in Portico. Marriage to what looks to read Giovanni Iodice.

Re: Please help with reading this marriage certificate

Giuseppe Gazzella was born in March 1891 to unknown parents (with an "s")...the record reads "ignoti genitori" which is the plural.

Try saving the image from the screen, view it in your computer's picture viewer...you can enlarge quite a bit without much distortion...
