Town Book

Post by ray1955 »

I have a book written in a town in Sicily.

I don't really understand this:

Giuseppa - Je 5.11.1795 sposi con Giuseppe Santangelo di Liborio e di Ignazia
then there is a circle with a line down the middle vertically then 'Olnea;

I read Giuseppa is spouse of/with Giuseppe Santangelo of Liborio & of Ignazia
'Olnea.
Giuseppe Santangelo's father is Liborio Antangelo and his wife of Ignazia ' Olnea.

Am I close ?

Giuseppa was married to Giuseppe Santangelo, whose parents were Liborio Santangelo and Ignazia "Olnea." I can't say whether that was really her surname without seeing the record. I haven't seen that surname in Sicily before. Can you show us an image?

I will try later, having scanner issues. Sure am having issues with this section of the book on my family. I get the general idea from the book who is who however there is a lot of information if you can make it out.

The surname is D'Anca.
Giuseppe Santangelo was the son of Liborio and Ignazia D'Anca.
