Romanians in Rome

Post by qualdom »

Does anyone know where the Romanian community resides in Rome? Are they spread throughout the city or do they have a core ethnic neighborhood?

I live in Roma and, as far as I know, there's isn't a Romanian neighborhood.
Indeed, most of them live in popular (peripheral) areas of the city.

I was quite surprised to read that over 1 million Romanians live in Italy now (and even more if you include Moldovans).

Although I studied Romanian....it must be very easy for them to learn Italian.
