Birth record Antonio De Negri or Di Negro from Salerno

Post by JCM »

Looking for birth record circa 1889-1891. Possibly born 4/24/1891 to Francesco Antonio Di Negro and Teresa De Cunto in Sicigliano degli Alburni, Salerno.

Other info is his emigration to São Paulo, Brazil in 1893 and marriage in Rio to Doralice Farias on 1/4/1941. Died in Rio in 1969.

The following is "possibly" Antonio's father's birth record:

1857 Birth Francesco Antonio Di Nigro: http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... ViewsIndex

He was born on 11 May 1857 and parents were per the record Tommaso di Nigro and Rosa Falibele (and not Falibene.)

I'll just leave this here as can't be sure without Antonio's birth record, and parents marriage record.

Angela….thx for the birth record for Francesco.

Yes the great granddaughter of Francesco living in Brazil is searching for info on her GF Antonio Di Negri but didn’t know where in Italy he was born. I discovered info from Sicignano for her and told her to post here since all you wonderful volunteers would help her…and you have with her thread. She is ecstatic!
