Gelao Genealogy

Post by kgelao »

My name is Ken Gelao and I live in the United States. I'm searching for genealogy information about my ancestorial roots in Italy. My grandparent Michele (Mike) Gelao migrated from Italy to the United States on the vessel LaVerona on July 26, 1913. He was born in Bari Italy on February 26, 1890. He was husband to Margherita Gelao and brother to Nick Gelao who also migrated from Bari to the United States. Please contact me if you have any information related to my family in Italy. kgelao@ibtechs.com

Hello Ken and welcome to the forum!
Are you looking to connect with family members, looking for help with Italian records in Bari, or help with US records (or all 3?)
Thank you,
Valarie

Valarie-
I'm hoping to connect with family members in Italy through networking and Italian records in Bari. I don't want to pay fees for third party service organizations.

You could also review your family’s records on microfilm.

The cost is about $6 mo (rent), you’ll need to go to the center to order & view them.
