Pulices of Cosenza, Calabria

Post by jc4490 »

Hello. I am looking for information on Francesco Pulice b. 1854 d. 1935 in Harrison County, West Virginia, US. His wife is Caterina Serriani b. ca. 1880 d. 1933. His sons are Pasquale and Saverio "Sam". His father may have been Saverio, birth and death unknown. I am looking for information on his parents and siblings, and any other children or other family he may have had that came to America with him. His family may have lived in Carolei or Giovanni in South Fiore. Thanks in advance.

Oh, sorry, that can't possibly be your Francesco. He was a child at the time of death in 1925 ( I misread your post)

Here is the record you want:

As I said, this site is amazing, and I'm sure you will find some more ancestors on it.

Wow. Replies very quick. Thank you. =]

Squigy: I am already very well acquainted with that site. I have found a lot of records for many ancestors. I love it! But I could not find anything about Francesco there...

Laura and johnny: I am awaiting my confirmation email for that site. Haha.

Thank you all for the quick help. Hopefully there's more options though...

My (very vague) recollection is that you don't have to wait for the email; your chosen username and password will work right off the bat.

I may be wrong; it has been a long time...

I thought of that and tried... didn't work. I'm going to re-register and try again. Haha.

Edit: Still didn't work. I guess I have to wait for some Italian lady or gentleman to activate my account... Boo. =[

Jc if you register using gmail you won't have a problem, it seems for some reason to give people with other email account a hard time registering.
Looking for the surnames Mosca( Marches ), Pizzoglio (Piedmonte), Chiacchiera, Lobasso(Bari), Gallo(Malvito), Azzolina (Messina).

I love that site too! For WV records, it beats Ancestry.com by far, wouldn't you agree? By the way, in my second post I put in a link to Francesco's death record, do you already have this?

I am researching my family history and Francesco Pulice is my great great grandfather. His son Saverio is my great grandfather. I see you posted this almost a year ago so I am hoping you are still using this site and that we can exchange information. I have info on the families of Saverio and Pasquale. I would love to know if you found more information than what was listed above and how you are related. Hope to hear from you!!
