Hello rpnardi,
Your file will not post directly. You may upload it to an image sharing site and post the link. Many here at the forum use imageshack or photobucket. Once you do that everyone will be able to view it easily. Then we can offer you a translation.

Re: Help with translation?
Thanks for the advice. I uploaded the file to my Photobucket account. It should be easier to get to now.

Re: Help with translation?
The writing is very bad.
Giuseppe Tardi (I have some difficulties to read it as Giuseppe Nardi) was born in Partinico on July 22 1884.
Father Pietro aged 4x, mother Maria Rosa Vecchio, aged 37 daughter of Giuseppe.
The side annotation states that Giuseppe Tardi married Domenica Cannavò on June 7(?) 1906

Re: Help with translation?
it looks like pietro's age is 46 to me.
Re: Help with translation?
Russ,
I would agree that Pietro's age seems to read 46.
I also agree with Livio that it is hard to read the last name as (N)ardi. The name on the lower document has a very distinctive "N".

Re: Help with translation?
Thanks to all who translated this. I have been grasping for any information for my Grandfather Giuseppe (Joseph?) Nardi. He was born in Partinico on July 21, 1886 according to his WW1 registration card. My family tells me he was adopted out of the Nardi family when he was a child but kept the Nardi name. That is where I have not been able to verify anything else. I have the ship manifest when he came over from Palermo in 1913 on the SS Mendoza. I cannot find any other information on him and I thought that the document I found was something. But I agree that now it looks like the "N" is a "T". Any other help is appreciated.
