La Russa Family

I am trying to research more about the La Russa family from Alessandria della Rocca in Sicily. My GGF Giuseppe La Russa, born aprox 1887 came to the US aprox 1904. His wife Angelina came the following year. This info is from the 1930 US census. I had more info but have misplaced it. I am looking into dual citizenship and eventually relocating to Sicily.

If anyone has any information I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks so much ! I finally located the info I misplaced. It goes back to my GGGG grandfather. Our surname was originally Russa. Now the search begins. Weird that my GGF birthdate is wrong on the reg. papers.

Just a guess but since Giuseppe was a cigar maker per the 1930 census and the children were born in Florida, the family may initially have lived in Ybor City in Tampa Florida.

Yes, they lived in Tampa. There's still family there but I don't know them.
