Catalano is a very common Italian surname. Is there a reason you don't think that is correct?

not sure if thats the name at all to be honest. I am having trouble reading it off of the document. cant read it very well.

variants Catalani catalan, catalanoto and otti. tHE BASE SURNAME IS catalano and between the 11th and 12thcentury commerce between Italy maritime republics and Barcelona Spain the surname spread thruout Italy. =Peter=
