Help finding a census...

Post by DeFilippis78 »

Can anyone help me find a 1910 census for my great grandmother? I have her 1920 and 1930 already but have looked for the 1910 to no avail.

Name: Mary Paonessa born in the Bronx 1909
Father: Giuseppe Paonessa born in Italy 1879
Mother: Serafina Paonessa born in Sicily in 1889
They married in 1908 in NYC. They all should have been living in the Bronx in 1910.

Alicia,

At the top of your 1910 census will be information on the city and county covered plus the enumeration district (ED) and other data. Please give us all of this detail.

Moriah, NY is along the eastern edge of the state bordering Vermont. http://maps.google.com/maps?oe=UTF-8&ie ... 19&t=h&z=6

Still, it sure looks like them...

No thats not them. Mary was born in 1909 so she would be an infant on the 1910 census. Her parents might be with Italian names or their American names ,Joseph and Sarah. As far as I know they were always in the Bronx.

Thats them!! Thank you so much. Can you help me with one more census in this family? As you saw, the mother is Serafina (Sarah). She came here in 1894 so there should be a 1900 census for her. I know her family was on Webster Ave in the Bronx also.

Serafina Basilotta from Sicily born 1889, migrated 1894 when she was 5
Mother: Provvidenza D'Amico
Father: Luigi Basilotta.
Siblings: giovanni, michele, francesco, epifania, antonia

Ive looked for the 1900 census for her and cant find it. She would have been about 11 in 1900 and Im positive they were in the Bronx. All her brothers were barbers on Webster Ave.
