Through Ellis Island, here are all the Fani's that came through. Do you have first names to narrow the search??

Waoh ! thanks a lot for your interest and reply

the facts is that I have a very few information about my family...
my father died when I was 9 years old with no known relatives ...

The line to search is between Verona, Venezia,
Corfu (kerkyra) : its the place where my grand father is born (Michel) he left this place with all the family around the Napoleon occupation (its when the french destroy the libro d'oro and the privileges?)

They went to many places in the Mediterranean sea (island of Chio ? Smyrne? Beirut? Suez for sure) they have commercial boats (trading with cattle all around the Mediterranean sea) ...

My father born at the autonomous canal of Suez- Port Said in 1905...

I found some Fani where I live now (in France) but they don't care ...

best regards and thanks again
