Gasperoni. Let's try again ;)

Post by fparri »

Hello everybody!

I'm here again to asj for your help. I'm looking for a far relative of mine, named (in Italy, at least) Nazareno Gasperoni. He was born in 1870 and, between 1893 and 1902, he migrated to America. I don't know wether he went to Northern America or Southern America.

He was born in Sant'Ermete, an hamlet (frazione) of Santarcangelo di Romagna, near Rimini.

Anyone can check censuses and ship's manifests for that period?

Thanks a million,

Fabio

Fabio there are 15 Gasperoni in Santarcangelo di Romagna so why don't yopu write to the 15 one letter and include an envelope with yiour return address and a dollar inside each for stamps and ask them if they related to your gasperoni and where he is currently residing?? Peter

Hi All,

What is the American name for Nazzareno?

What "town" name could be on the manifest? Rimini? S.Ermete? etc...

Did "Naz" have any sisters or brothers who left Italy?

Hi,

I don't know how he could be named in America?
When he left for America, he had been a resident of Rimini for a year. Previously he was a resident of Santarcangelo, where he was born.
He had an older sister, and a younger brother, Augusto, my ggf.

Nazareno's father was named Giuseppe and his mother (dead by the time he left) was named Carolina Anelli.

Hope it helps,

Fabio

Fabio you do not explain anything from the beginning and people waste a lot of time with you for what you want and then after they go out of their way you tehn say what you should have said the first time. Now we are at the beginning thanks to you.

colono. Non sa leggere e scrivere. Statura m.1,64, capelli colore
neri e forma lisci, occhi grigi, colorito roseo, dentatura guasta,
segni particolari nessuno e periferia toracica 0,89....etc

ok, buon anno, suanj

Continuerò a osservare.

First Name: Laszareno
Last Name: Gasparini 8O
Ethnicity: Italian
Last Place of Residence: Pesaro
Date of Arrival: May 05, 1901
Age at Arrival:  21y    :?  Gender:  M    Marital Status:  S
Ship of Travel: Werra
Port of Departure: Genoa
Manifest Line Number: 0001

If Nazzareno had children, he would have named them Giuseppe or Caterina... something to look for.. abbia sempre speranza :D

Fabio there are 13 GASPERONI in Argentina. Go to ww.infobel.com and look up the Argentina Tele[phopne ditrectory for the 13. There is no Nazareno but perhaps you may consider sending a cartolina to the 13 and ask them if they know anything? Peter
