Paino family

Post by Nickelbean23 »

Hello I'm trying to find some information on the immigration of a relative to the US. His name was Vincent Paino born 1885. He married Marina Tiuffre in 1906 in Brooklyn, NY. How do I find out more information?

Hello and welcome to this forum-

Here is information for the marriage record of Vincenzo Paino and Marina Tiuffre, in case you need their marriage record

Paino Vincenzo May 15 1906 Kings certificate # 3890

Ginffre Marina May 16 1906 Kings 3890

The marriage record would have the names of their parents and possibly their places of birth in Italy, if you don't already have that information.

Hi
There is a webbsite about 'the Paino Family' informative with photos

The Painos featured on this site are descendents of those brave men who ventured across the oceans from Sicily's Aeolian Islands in the early 20th century. Their dream was to find a better life for their families, and in this they succeeded.

Some traveled to the United States and found work on the railroads. Others set sail for South America and worked in the mines of Argentina. And some eventually found their way to New Zealand and Australia. My grandfather was one of these men.

Hope it helps.
