Pronati, Burk. Crenshaw, Alabama

After initially deciding Burk Pronati must be a mis-spelling, I now think I should at least find out as much as I can about him, just to make sure one way or the other.

However, the only information I can find is the 1920 census, giving his birth in 1888 in Bradleyton Township, Crenshaw - and his wife and daughter.

Can anyone help with any other info about him, like the name of his parents etc?

Any info would be very much appreciated.

maybe the surname is mispelled... no sure if Burk surname was really and in origin Pronati ...

I agree, Suanj. I thought it must be a mis-print or mis-spelling.
The other surnames of the people in the household are all spelled differently, so I think Prouate or Provate is probably the correct name.

I won't pursue this any further.
