I have a friend wishing to find a Raffaele Pagano who was from Napoli. This is all the information that they have, other than he had a child born in the late 1950's in Nottingham. Can anyone help?
Is it definately PAGANO?
All recorded and transcribed names are never the correct spelling, but i found a marriage in 1945, Nottingham with a Antonio (anthony) Picciano (this prob. being misspelt!) and Jeanne Glover??

Yes the Surname is Pagano on the british BMD record. Have no idea if he got married as my friend has no information other than the name Raffaele Pagano, and that she was brought up by the man her mother married in 1960. Yes the name is Anna born 1958 in Nottinghamshire.
Yes i found that person also, but the Raffaele Pagano that my friend is interested in was from Napoli, so i am unsure if the one born 1912 and died 1987 is the correct one.
you have no more details? If this man emigrated for a short time in the 1950s and after back in Italy it is impossible to find something without other infos... Napoli is no a small town; sometimes saying Napoli and meaning surrounding area...

I have found a document of a Raffaele Pagano, born 1912 New York travelling to see grandfather Giovanni, in 1920, with his father giuseppe, mother and siblings. Travelling from Napoli and parents from Soriano?? a road in Naples??
All my friend has is a slip of paper with his name and Napoli, thats all the information they have. We know if she had more information it would be easier, but they have been told very little by the mother. When she has asked she has been told thats all she knows. That this is the name of her father and where he was from. So heres hoping someone out there can help us.
