Trying to find info on wife's grandfather, Frank Giordano, born about 1884, possibly born in Naples, moved to Westchester County, Yonkers, New York, date unknown but before 1925. Thank you.

Hello and welcome! :-)

We'll see what we can do!

Can you tell us Frank's approx. date of birth?
If he was married, his wife's name?
Names of children?

If you have Frank's Social Security # you can request (for a fee) his Social Security application. The application will have the names of his parents, and his place of birth.

Request online at this site
http://genealogy.about.com/gi/o.htm?zi= ... t/main.jsp

If you don't have his SS#, you can do a search at this site

some suggestion abt Frank Giordano wife:
by 1930 census found by Tessa, Frank Giordana/o married the first time when 40 old; the wife when 16 old( first marriage); she most probably married at a PRISCINTELLI man, because in 1930 census this children :
Vito Priscionlella 18
Frank Priscionlella 16
Teresa Priscionlella 15
Concetta Priscionlella 13
having PRISCINTELLI surname( misspelled on the census) so they are the childrens of Flatts only... in Westchester county, New York it was only 2 Priscintelli, brothers: Filippo ( Philip) married at Rose and Michele( Michael) married at Florence( Lorenza); the brothers moved from NYC in Westchester, New York

Philip Priscintelli in 1920 census Harrison, Westchester, New York:

Philip Prescentillo
37
Rose Prescentillo
36
Vito Prescentillo
10
Micheal Prescentillo
6
John Prescentillo
5
[5 3/12]
Dan Prescentillo
3
[3 6/12]
Philemina Bendetto
42 sister in law

so Rose maiden name was Benedetto;

Michael Priscintelli in 1920 census Harrison, Westchester, New York:

Micheal Prescentillo 39
Forenza Prescentillo 31 (Lorenza)
Gustina Prescentillo 9
Estella Prescentillo 7
Joseph Prescentillo 2
[2 0/12]
Tessie Prescentillo 0
[4/12]

In 1930 census Philip Priscintelli are not, only Michael...
both Rose Priscintelli Benedetto and Lorenza Priscintelli.... are a bit more old of Flatts Giordana/o...
so or the age of Flatts is wrong on the 1930 census or this Priscintellis are no related with the Priscintelli stepchildren of Frank Giordano... if you can provide more details it can be helpful for to better help you,
all the best,
