I have sent an e-mail to your address above. I have attached my family tree which shows a connection to your Giovanni Capaldi.

Please confirm that you have received it just in case I have got the address wrong.

The Italians during the war were being moved to Canada on the Arandora Star but the ship was sunk with the loss of many internees.
This was in 1940.
No Capaldi names were on the perished list so he must have suvived and then sent to Isle of Man.
His and my grandfather's cousins (Copollas) perished on the boat.
