Italy-EASy archive
What is the frequently cited Italy-EASy archive?
Re: Italy-EASy archive
Are you talking about the recs on the LDS pilot site? I think I've seen them use that there if I remember correctly.

Here, for example:

Is there a version of Italy-EASy that links to and displays the digitized records in the way that Ellis Island does? Is there an "institutional" version of Italy-EASy (available perhaps in Italy?) which has this capability?

Yeah, that's the LDS pilot site. From what I've seen, they haven't attached any scanned images yet like you're talking about.
And no, Italy doesn't have them either. A few places are trying but this kind of stuff happens very slooooowly! And when you get lucky and find something indexed like this- vital details are left out.
The best way by far is still to go with the microfilms.
