Ok that is great but anything else that can be found on the Migliaccio name would be wonderful. I know that we still have family over there that has not changed their surname.

In order to learn more about your family, it will be necessary to determine exactly which comune/city/village they originated from. Since it appears that your family may have arrived in the US pre-1900, the passenger manifest will not be helpful in this regard (minimal information on early manifests).

If we can narrow down some more detail (specifically birthdate or at least birth year) on the males who actually immigrated from Italy, we may be able to locate a draft registration card or other document which contains place of birth information.
