I´m looking information about my ancestors Osvaldo Cazzaniga (1868-???) and his wife Rosa Cantaluppi, they emigrated to Argentina during 1890´s maybe from Lombardy or Piamonte.

The passenger list did not have his town of birth in Italy. On the following website, if you type in the last name in the box where it says cognome, you will see the distribution of the surname throughout Italy. It is concentrated in the northern part of the country.

However, I have no way of narrowing down the actual town of birth. Possibly a death record from Argentina would contain that kind of information.

Searching the surname does not yield any results, possibly because the death records are not recent enough, or because not all parishes have their death records online.
