Excuse my ignorance. I have a question about the FHL. Once you know what films you are looking for, how do you find them. Are they available online or do you have to request them in print through FHL? Thanks

You can search for the films online at this site...
http://www.familysearch.org/eng/
Click on Library, then you can search by Place.
Once you locate the films you must go to the nearest center to order them, and pay the rental fee (about $5.50 per month of rental). It will take about 3-4 weeks for the films to arrive. At that time you must return to the Family History Center to view them at the FHC.
