Hello and welcome :-)

We would be happy to assist...
Can you provide more detail? approx. birth dates, marriage date?
Did they immigrate? what year approx.?
If they lived in US - where?

Salvatore came to America, NYC and then to Gloversville ,NY in 1907.
He returned to G.N. to marry Josephine Cordone (Cardone?) a year or 2 later. They then both came to US (Gloversville ,NY).
They had their 1st son, Vito, I believe in Italy before they came to America.

According to this manifest from 1920, wife Giuseppa and sons, Vito, Antonio and Mario (ages 8, 7, 6) the children were born in US. Last place of residence is listed as Rome.
Giuseppa leaves father Nicola in Rome.

Going to husband/father Salvatore Iavarone on School St. in Gloversville.
Giuseppa states that she has been in US before...

Thanks, this info does seem to be for my family-they did live on School st.. I knew Vito had been in Italy but not the other 2 brothers. According to the manifest they returned to Gloversville in 1920 which is just before my father and his sister were born. Nicola and Lucia).

Possible 1920 Census for Salvatore - married and living at 18 School St. in Gloversville, NY - only one in residence - which agrees with the manifest with his wife and sons in Italy...

These are all regarding my family. Salvatore died at an early age. My father Nick and MOLLIE were twins.
Vito was actually born in Italy and went back to visit two times once with his mother and later with his father. Thanks everyone

Although all names and ages are about right, I don't think this pertains to my family. I've never heard about anyone in my family going through Boston. However the city Gloversville is right the address on Fulton st. is not.
They lived on School st at this time and after that moved to Grove st.
It is strange that all names and ages seem to be correct but I doubt they travelled back an forth to Italy twice in a one year period. Thanks.
