Maria DelPierro Bressani

Hello,
I am looking for information on Maria Del Piero. I believe she was born in Italy and attended the University of Padua. She married Augusto Bressani in Denver,Colorado,USA. She raised her family in San Jose,California.
I can't find when or where she came from and any family history. Maria was my great grandmother.
Would love to hear from anyone with info.

Looks like you have a DOB of approx. 1866...
Marriage to Augusto Bressani in 1891 in Colorado...

So - we're looking at arrival in USA before 1891, (the 1900 census indicates that she arrived in 1891, and also states that she has been married for 9 years) Unfortunately those early manifests hold very little information...

Since both children were born in California, have you tried requesting their birth records? Maybe some indicate of her place of birth there...

I see that in 1900 Census, Maria was a nurse. In the 1910 Census she is listed as a midwife. Maybe you can locate some employment records from area hospitals.

Don't know if you have this...

According to this WWI Draft Registration Card for Antonio Bressani, living in San Jose, CA...

He supports his wife and mother - so it would seem that Augusto Bressani died sometime between 1910 Census and this June 1917 registration card.
