coat of arms for simonini family

I have a coat of arms for the simonini family. I wanted to make sure that the painting of the coat of arms was correct for the family.

Can anyone help and what information would I need to verify it?

My grandfather was Frank Simon (Simonini)Died in 1995 born in 1910 i believe.

In the famous "Armoral general" by J.B. Rietstap there is a coat of arms of the family Simonini from Udine.
The official description is(in French): "D'azur à une chouette essorant au naturel sur un tertre de sin, accompagné, en chef de trois étoiles mal-ordonnées d'or."
The picture is in one of the books of Rietstap.(perhaps in the local library?)
