This is a double post for I posted this information in the Genealogy Forum.
The correct spelling of the town is Pescaserroli.
The Family History Center has microfilm that you can order for about $3.50 a roll. However, the film is limited and only goes from 1809-1865. Here is the link for the microfilm.

Here is the link to find your nearest Family History Center.

This is a link to find names and addresses of the people that still might live in that town with your surname.

Here is a couple of links about the town itself.

Re: Pescasseroli
color=red] [/color] Is it best to get microfilm ahead of time or look for the information at the parishes and government records while there? I did find one Saviola in the records for Pescaserroli and many more DiPirro. Is it possible to get addresses and send a letter. It must be relative to be in the same village. However, my father thought that my grandfather was only son to survive and uncles had left town.
Re: Pescasseroli
Unless the microfilm you need happens to be at the Family History Center you visit, you have to go to the FHC and order the microfilm records you want to view. They usually take a couple of weeks to arrive.
