Searching for a grave in Trani

Post by Coops »

Hi there
I am new to this site and wondered if anyone could help with my search for my Polish Grandfathers grave in Trani. He died in 1946 in Trani after being in a displaced persons camp there. I have confirmation that he is buried in Trani but no info on graveyard or grave number etc. I have contacted the Town Hall in Trani, they do not have records. I know someone somewhere will have the records but don't know who??

Any help would be appreciated thank you :)

Hello,
if you have the name and day of death of your polish grandfather, you can ask to the guardian of Trani's cemetery, he should have kept in his office the complete list of buried people
Here there is the address and phone number

Cimitero
Via Barletta
70059 Trani (BA)
tel:0883 587557

I hope it helps, bye Riccardo
