Ficorilli Family?

Hello there,

I am looking for more information on one side of our family. The only information I have is of three members originally from Italy.. Their names were Luigi Ficorilli (son){1917-1988}, Inez or Ines Polidori Ficorilli (mother){1896-1981}, and Apolio Ficorilli (father) {1845-1953} all were supposedly from Terni, Umbria, Italy? I believe they came over to America around 1929.I am looking to find out if that is where they were from, what their occupations were, any photographs, records, is there still family in Italy and why they came to America. Anything really helps!! Thank you so much!

Here is something you can do. Since Terni is both a province and comune in Umbria,
you might send an email to the Province and ask for the birth act of Apolio. He was born before 1865, so this is where you would request his birth act. The record would have his comune of birth and parents names and more.

If your Ficorilli family is from the comune of Terni, the Family History Center has civil records on film to rent.. http://tinyurl.com/8xoax3t

They were leaving Ines' father Alessandro Polidori in PAPIGNO, TERNI
