Does anyone know how to research adoptions?
I am looking for more information on the children of this family, specifically the daughter Maria Rosaria but also about her brothers who lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1955.
Maria Rosaria was b. 1Jun1892 to Vito Mancusi who died (26Dec1891) 5 months before her birth and to Carminella Colucci who died(4Mar1893) 9 months after her birth.
Vito & Carminella also had 2 sons Andrew and Michael. I don't know when they were born but the are listed in Maria Rosaria's obit in 1955 as living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. (Will search Avigliano births after 1875 when Vito & Carminella were married)
Maria Rosaria came to the US in 1912 at the age of 20. She is leaving behind her Uncle Andrea (Mancusi?) and going to her father (adopted?) Angelo Antonio Vaccaro of Port Chester, NY.
Maria Rosaria's obituary indicates she has 3 Vaccaro brothers and 4 Vaccaro? sisters.
Maiden names of the sisters are not given but based on their suspected birth dates they would be Vaccaro's too.
Any ideas on how to find an adoption document for Maria Rosaria or more about her two brothers Andrew and Michael? Thanks, Eileen
