I have Peter's info on his kids' names and date he passed away, in Nevada in 1976 thru the 1930 census. However, I got no info on the marriage certificate. Any suggestions? Thanks again, Marty.

Just to get clarification about Peter's death date and place. It would appear from the information you posted below that Peter died in New York in 1970, and Adelina died in Nevada in 1976... Correct?

On the 1930 Census you referenced (living in Brookly, NY), Peter/Pietro was a shoemaker, and he lists his immigration as about 1913. He also lists his age at first marriage as 24. So I would guess he and Adelina were married in the US.

Here is a POSSIBLE arrival manifest for Pietro in 1914.
He is 20 (which would put his birth about 1894) and a shoemaker (laborer is crossed out and shoemaker is written above)
He lists his last residence as Collesano, Italy (also in Palermo Province and about 25 miles from Caccamo)
He leaves is father Giorgio Sapienza in Collesano.
His destination is 61 Houston St., NYC, to his brother Carlo Sapienza.
He is listed as 5'5", with a scar on his forehead.

Does any of this sound familiar?

EDIT: to include...

Found an additional manifest for the above Pietro Sapienza, arriving in 1910 with his father, Giorgio Sapienza. Pietro is age 16, and Giorgio is age 42. They are both shoemakers from Collesano. Leaving wife/mother Arcangela in Collesano. Going to Giorgio's brother Maria/o Sapienza in NY. (can't read the address. Maybe we can find him in the census?)

Thank you, Tessa. This seems to fit in the file of PIETRO:

YES.
In the embarkation card, the province noted was Caccamo and not Collesano so I never referred to it prior to discovering this now.

I found his registration card with that description of having a "scar on right eye." This is as of APRIL 27, 1942.

This is definitely the PIETRO SAPIENZA I am searching for because the given address in 1942 is the address where my departed mother-in-law had lived- at 512 E 54th St., Brooklyn, NY. My husband remembered his visitation there when he was about 12 or 14.
I have copies of her love letters mailed in this address.

I hope I'd get to unravel more information on the Sapienzas in Sicily. We hope to make a connection with his descendants prior to traveling there.

Thank you again.

EVerything seems to be fitting right for the profile of Pietro Sapienza, except that the birth date does not sync. I am basing it from the 1930 census that indicated it to be:

May 25, 1895.

But following the file in the birth record, this date (in red) is the precise one.

Distinguishing mark is similar : as in "scar on forehead" in the arrival manifest while written as " scar on right eye" as of April 1942 record..

Height of 5'6

Tessa nice job I would say that is your Pietro Sapienza
Census dates are not always right they have known to be off by years
The Pietro Sapienza I posted died at 6 months old as a baby the same year 1890 in Collesano had the same the parents Giorgio Sapienza and Arcangela Musciotto,
INDEX # 87
Italian naming patterns the just named the next male son in 1893 Pietro Sapienza so this was the first Pietro
