PACELL/ PACELLI

Post by clp912 »

Looking at another forum I cam across my husbands great-grandparents listed as living a whole bunch of people.

Joseph born abt 1860
Laura born abt 1862

I beleive they came to the US in 1894 but there isnt a record of Laura. I beleive they lived in Naples. They came to the US and lived in Philadelphia and then Lower Merion. That's all I have on those 2.

In the US they had 3 children: Tressa, John, Hertbert. I have info on John and Herbert but nothing on Tressa since she was 8 years old in the 1910 census. (born 1902)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi :D

From the 1900 census looks like Laura was born in Pennsylvania, this date is also confirmed by the 1910 census, see here:

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/M3WS-5Q8

Most Likely Laura was at her second marriage because they were living with Edward Khun, age 10, male born in PA, stepson for Joseph...

1920 census shows her with married name of Troupe.
See record below:
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/MFYV-LQQ#

No listing for her in the 1930 census but does show she had two children, Walter and Herbert

Laura D. was born in PA- married prior to Joseph- married to joseph had 3 add' children. Any way I could fine her maiden name? (D)or marriage license / birth certificate

BIFF- so Tressa most likely died before 1930... can i look up a death certificate or something?
