Hi There,

Can we ask you to be a little more specific with your questions? Can you give us a first name? Did they come to the USA? If so, where did they settle? Do you have their manifest? Do you have any documents that could narrow down where your ancestor was from so that we can help you more?

As for the Family History Center there are several towns with the name Friuli in it. Here is the link for those microfilm.

If you can get back to us with more information, we will be able to help you more.

Have a good day.

Hi Luci,

Could you tell me your grandmother's first name and who she married?

Also, there isn't microfilm for the town of Udine, so you will have to write to the town itself.

Here is their official website.
http://www.comune.udine.it/opencms/open ... index.html

Here is the address if you write.

Comune di Udine
Via Lionello, 1
33100 UDINE (UD)

Here is their email address:
centro.redazionale@comune.udine.it

Here is a link to help you write a letter in Italian asking for records.
http://www.circolocalabrese.org/resourc ... civile.asp

If you write to the town, make sure you put two International Return Postage Coupons with your letter. Here in the USA, you can get them for about $1.80 each.

I hope this helps

Thank you very much.

Here name was Assunta Anna Maria Bellina, born Udine 1918. She married Giovanni Ballico who went to war. Later she married Kenneth Burnley in Venezia, and they moved on. Her Father was called Antonio I think.

Where can I look up addresses from surnames? Is there a website/phone book type thing. She was related to the Liberale family as well, they are still in Udine.
