You have to know the town in Italy they were from in order to find that information. Do you know the town? Can you post a link to their passenger manifest?

The town looks like Sersale, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italy. But don't quote me, I need another set of eyes to look at it for me.

If I'm correct with the town of Sersale, then the Family Hitory Center has microfilm that you can order and rent for about $3.50 a roll depending on your area.

Here is the link for the film numbers.

I hope this helps,

for Sersale are the link www.sersale.org/vital.htm as in my previous reply..
-about your other posting I think that are some confusion.. :
-rapani is in Sicily region and no in Calabria;
-ete Tallarino now you say that was born in Reggio Calabria and no in Sersale? and the surname is Tallarnio and no Tallarino?

My greatgrand father came over with my greandfather on the same ship on the ship record his name is listed as Pasquale Tallocrino His son was listed as Pietro Tallarino. So then maybe our name is not Tallarino but instead Tallocrino

Dear Sam,

The information on the mainfest was posted in a previous post by me. It is the ship's manifest for Pasquale and Pietro Tallarino. Here's the manifest link again.

http://www.ellisisland.org/search/shipm ... 5071070116

**Please note that you have to remember that the people transcribing the Ellis Island Manifest are people just like you and me; and they could make mistakes. (an example is that my great-grandfather's name was DiIiorio and on the manifest it was DiTiorio, the "i" looked like a "t".)

Now as for towns of Concetta Falbo.

Like Suanj stated, Trapani is in Sicily, Italy.

However, there is town called Tripatni in the region of Vibo Valentia which is in Calabria, Italy.

Poking around the manitests, I did find some Falbo coming from Catanzaro.

Do you know if any of Concetta's siblings? Do you know Concetta's parents names?

This it what I'm find for Falbo from Ellis Island.

Name - Last Residence - Year of Arrival - Age of Arrival

Concetta Falbo Acri, Italy 1920 13
Concetta Falbo Aieta 1906 10

A few examples of Falbo's coming from Calabria. Note that there were many that also came from Sersale.

Chiara Falbo Cosenza 1907 33
Chiara Falbo Sovena Mannella 1897 43
Caterina Falbo Sellia, Catanzaro 1914 13
Carmine Falbo Sersale 1901 27

Try to give us more information on Concetta Falbo like parents names or siblings and we can try to help more.

Trish
