I was wondering my great grand mother Anna cherry was born Anna Yannatell or yannatelli on july 26, 1894 in Nesquehoning Pennsylvania is there away to find a copy of her birth record?

I contacted them and they told me they couldn't find her and that I should look at local churches I have no clue about that area of Nesquehoning

Hi, T :D

Our Lady of Mount Carmel was the Italian parish in Nesquehoning but it wasn't established until 1908. It might be worth a call to find out what parish might have served Italians prior to its founding.
