Help With Translating an Italian Birth Record

Post by demari18 »

I have found a record at Ancestry.com which I hope that someone can help translate for me. The record is under Caserta, Teano, Atti Di Nascita, year 1872 - page 71 lower left side. From what I can see the record is from April and I can see Luigi. My husband's grandfather Luigi Lorenzo (there are many different spellings for his surname) was born in Teano in April of 1872 so perhaps this is his birth record. I also have an April, 1870 date for his birth but have not found anything that looks like Luigi when going through those records.
Thank you for your help - DeMari

The surname for this birth is Giarrusso, not Lorenzo :-(

FYI - the father is Marcello and the mother is Mariangela De Iorio
