What do they say? Who are the parents? Are the dates they were born listed? Thanks very much.

There are a lot of records posted here ...

I will get you started with the first document for RACHELE FRANCESCA FERRARA

The record is dated 4 June 1834 at 3PM at the town office in Agnone when the father appeared to declare the birth.
Father: Biase Ferrara, age 54, blacksmith (who I believe worked with copper?)
Mother: Mariarosa Carosella, 38, his wife
Child was born at the home of the married couple on the 4th of June at noon.
She was given the name RACHELE FRANCESCA
The right column states that she was baptized in the parish Church of S. Marco on the same day.

Thanks for the help, Tessa. I've been using Rachele's as a template to try and do the others. I have Domenico's birth year, and am having trouble deciphering the names of his parents. I'll keep on trying, though. I appreciate your help with Rachele's.

Sam what has helped me besides all the wonderful help here is using the online Section B portion of the user manual on Italian documents and a book called Discovering Your Italian Ancestors by Lynn Nelson it has helped review documents easier.

Tessa, thank you so much for helping translate the documents! After the one you did for Rachele, I was using that as a template and figured out the birthdays. However, with my knowledge of Italian and never having worked with Italian documents before, it would have taken me substantially longer.

I love this forum.

If there is anything I can ever help you with, please do not hesitate to ask.
Same with anybody else in this forum. I'm in Chicago. If anybody needs a headstone photographed or an obituary looked up, please let me know and I will do all I can to help out.
