Re: translation help
Date of Marriage:7 DEc 1871 in Vallelunga
Groom: Giuseppe Macaluso 22yo born in Villafrate (?) livin in Vallelunga, son of deceased Salvatore and living Maria La Barbera
Bride: Maddalena Spoto, 18yo born and living in Vallelunga, daughter of deceased Loreto and of Rosa Piscitello
What you read "army" is "anni" with a fancy curl at the end

Re: translation help
I guess a coachman drove a coach you wouldn't or I wouldn't think there would be much call for that in respect to people paying you for a ride like a taxi driver. Basically horse and buggy to take folks from a - b…….
Re: translation help
Could have been a driver for the transport of passengers, mail, etc.ray1955 wrote:coachman what did they do back in the day do you know for 1871 ?
