Surname: Salegna & Maddaluna

Post by apearson75 »

Hi! I have been struggling finding information on my grandfather's side of the family. Rumor has it, great grandma got tired of sending money to Italy so she cut off all contact with our family there. Now everyone I can ask is gone. I have no idea where in Italy there are from. My great grandfather's name is Peter Salegna. He was born in Italy 17Nov1898. I do not know who his parents. He married Josephine Maddaluna (born in NJ). Her parents were Vincenzo Maddaluna and Philamena Sansoro. If anyone can help me find more information on this branch of my family, I would be grateful!

Thanks!

I just read your post from 7 years ago. My father was Samuel Maddaluna born in 1932. His parents were Peter and Pasquelina Maddaluna. I was looking for more info on our family.
