Welcome to the forum! :-)

Looking at the manifests for Alessandro Cirino (Boston 1903 - did not sail; Boston 1903 - destination Buffalo, NY; New York 1905 - destination Cleveland, Ohio, to father-in-law Giuseppe De Lillo)...
His name is spelled correctly on all three manifests, so it would appear that the spelling of the name changed AFTER arriving in USA. This often happens with immigrants on US documents due to the pronunciation of the name to a clerk, and the inability of some immigrants to write/spell their names.

Boston, Passenger and Crew Lists, 1820-1954 about Alessandro Cirino

Would need to verify this address in Ohio, maybe with a 1910 US Census...
but here is a listing in the Cleveland City Directory for Alessandro Cirino

EDIT to add:

Can you tell me your grandfather's exact date of birth?

AND...
Could this be the family in the 1920 US Census?
With first son being named Domenic - I suspect Alessandro's father's name was Domenico :-)
