Iapalucci

Post by jp1818 »

Newbie here, be gentle.

Looking for records of Donato Iapalucci from the Campobasso, Riccia region. Born Aug. 1863.
Name was changed to Poluch after arriving in the US.
Misspelled, I think as Japalucci on boat manifest.
Married Marianna Vassalotti prior to leaving for the states around 1893.
May have had a brother Giuseppe Iapalucci who lived on the same street as Donato according to the 1910 US Census.
Running into a wall when looking at the Italian records.
Any suggestions or insight is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Joe

Hi Joe!

Happy to help :-D
Let me know what you need.

Just a bit of information for you.
The records links that I provided above do not allow you to print the documents. However,
you can write directly to the Comune of Riccia is you want to request the births of Donato and Giuseppe, and the marriage of Donato.
I can provide you with the address and samples of letters of request in Italian if you wish to do that. :-)
