Rosa family

I am trying to find my great grandfather family in Italy. His name was Giovanni Rosa. His home town Massa-Carrara in DI Pontremoli. His parents were Modesto and Annunziata Penilla Rosa . Giovanni arrived in New York May 1893 he was 29 yr old on the ship La Bourorgogne.

There are a few Rosa entries in the Italian White Pages telephone directory (with addresses shown) in the town of Pontremoli. Just go to this web site:

in the box on the left, type in the surname; in the box next to it, type in Pontremoli. Then click "TROVA". The names will come up. Then you can write or telephone them to see if there is a match.
