Hi all, I am William and I just started looking for my family background.
From Italy my ancestors went to Brazil. According to my family they arrived in Santos Port in São Paulo's state and after they wen to Rio Grande do Sul on the south of Brazil.
My great grandfather was called MIGUEL TESTA and my great grandmother was JOANNA ZAMBELI. My family says they are from the Province of Bergamo.
They have registered their kids in a city called Santo Antonio da Patrulha.
I am looking for their documents in Italy as well as the region, city or village.

The surnames TESTA and ZAMBELLI are both found in the Comune of Bergamo as well as the province.

Could this be the baptism of one of their children... Carlos? (in 1896)

Miguel Testa was marriage with Joanna Zambeli, they lived in the south of Brazil in a town named Morro Agudo.
Miguel's parents were Francesco Testa and Joanna Trapeto.

According to my family history and small talks they region is Bergamo and once they mentioned a place called Gorlago.
