Parisi - Loiacono Detroit, Michigan

For a long time I've been trying to locate living descendants of my cousins Anna Loiacono and her husband Nicolo Parisi (or any descendants of Anna's siblings: brother Giuseppe "Joseph" (1899-1965), sisters Ignazia "Jennie" (1904), and Giuseppa "Josephine" (1894-1895) ).

The family first came to St. Louis, MO from Terrasini, Sicily. They than moved to Detroit. I have the Detroit 1920 and 1930 census for Anna and Nicolo. They have three children listed:Tony, Sam, and Joseph. Anna's brother Joseph is listed in the 1930 census with wife Estelle and their children: Sam, Joseph, and James. Sister Ignazia "Jennie" is only listed with her mom Rosa Randazzo and brother in the 1920 census living with Anna. Sister Giuseppa "Josephine" I cannot find after she and Anna arrive in NY 31 Dec 1907.

I recently found a note pad that belonged to my mother. It is from the 1940s. Included is an address 6161 Burns Street, Detroit, 13 Michigan for a Mrs. J. Parisi. It must be Anna's son Joseph - I searched the internet and this place is listed on a tax site as a 1 bath, 1068 square foot home built in 1914. Does this family sound familiar to anyone in the Detroit area?

So sorry for not answering your reply! YES - I think this is Ignazia "Jennie" Loiacono! How were you able to see the marriage info?? Do you have access to marriages in St. Louis, MO? Now my mind is racing! May be you could find their sister Josephine? She arrived in the USA with sister Anna in 1907. I would also like to know when their mom Rosa died.

It's amazing that I would find your reply this afternoon of all days. Last night while cleaning I came across a box of photos that belonged to my grandmother.
Some photos were listed with the names of who they were of. Thank God!
Low and behold at the bottom of the box I laid eyes for the very first time
on Rosa Randazzo Loiacono!
