Sgroi, Geloso, Gelosi, Marino

I am just getting started with my grandpas side. Her is what I have so far

Providenza Geloso-Gelosi B Mar 13 1887 Suppose to be daughter of Salvatore Geloso & Anna Garsasi born San Giuseppe Jato, Italy. She went to the US at some point and married either in Italy or the US Anthony Sgroi-Segro-Sgro. Family story has it that he died on a ship either to or from Italy. She had returned to Italy be 1915 with three children born in the US and had one daughter Guiseppa Josephine Rose Sgroi born Mar 5 1915 San Guiseppe Jato.

Providenza then returned to the US in 1921 and went to Wisconsin and married George Marino. I am unsure if the marriage happened in Wisconsin or Italy.

Looking for Proof of Providenza's Parents her Birth Certificate, also marriage to Anthony Sgroi between 1907 and first child b 1910.

Also looking to see if she returned to bury her husband or get divorced or why she went back. She then came back to the US a single mother with four children.

If her father is Salavtore he was born abt 1854 , He had a son deported back to Italy for Murder, and his son was a bootlegger and ran with the Regent Street Gang in Madison Wisconsin. See below

Joseph Giuseppe Geloso DEPORTED Married Rose M Labarro He was known as Joe Gelsoi
1897 – Joe got in a lot of trouble in the US, rumored to run with Al Capone, involved in a few possible murders, one he was convicted of, his 2 year old son was killed during a hit that was put out on Joe, Wife divorced him and he returned to Italy

I am looking for any proof of this family in San Giueseppe Jato.

I checked San Giuseppe Jato birth records online for 1885 to 1887 but couldn't find a birth record for a Providenza Geloso born around 13 Mar. I couldn't find an index for these years so I had to go one-by-one, but it's possible I missed it.

Is the name Anthony is Italian different then Antonio? I have this family in the US and I also have them having a son born about 1885 who ended up marrying a Angeline Purpura. I think they might be the same person as his parents are also Rosario and Anna Marie Russo. The plot thickens. We were told he died coming or going on a ship, it looks more like they separated and Providenza went back to Italy in 1916 and when coming back to the US she went straight to Wisconsin with her kids, where her brother was living.

Do these records cover deaths? she had several siblings and her parents that stayed back in Italy.

The distinct Italian names Antonio and Antonino are both usually anglicized as Anthony (or Tony).
