Surname Mirarchi and Stillo from Isca

I am trying to find information my G-G-Grandmother's line. Francis Mirarchi born around 1850ish. I only make that assumption as my G-Grandfather Saverio Stillo was born about 1880. From Saverio's death certificate, it looks like his father was Francesco Stillo.

Any information someone may have on either the Mirarchi or Stillo line from Isca around this time period would be so helpful. Or any lead on how to research data from Isca.

The Church registers of baptisms, marriages and deaths of Isca are not available online, so you have to consult them in person or hire a professional genealogist. They start from the early 1700's and I have free access to that archive, since I did many researches there...

Can you post the death record of Saverio Stillo I looked a little in Isca birth records didn't see a Saverio Stillo

I have attached the Death Record from St. Joseph's Hospital for Consumptives in the Bronx, New York. Unlike other Death Certificates from New York, it does not indicate where the body may be buried. I have not yet located him.

I'm guessing he was born approximately 1880. And came to New York about 1903. He married and settled in Haverstraw, New York (Rockland County). They had two children Frank in 1907 and Anna in 1909 just before his death. My great-grandmother (Addolorata Narducci from Isernia) remarried within the year and never told anyone of his existence until many, many years later. As such the information is difficult to trace. I have yet to find their marriage license.

At least seeing his Death Record seems to make sense of why his first son was named Frank as it looks like his father may have been Francesco.

The death certificate you posted says that Saverio Stillo's parents were Francis (Francesco) Stilo and Frances (Francesca) MAFRICI, not Mirarchi.

Yes, that is what was written on this record and may be true. However, long time family rumor - and we all know how inccorect it can turn out to be when you start researching was that it was Mirarchi from Isca. But perhaps it was the Stillo that was from Isca.

Given my lack of finding anything concrete (on either name), I may have to go back and try researching Mafrici yet again and (again). This man has been such a brick wall !!!!!
